Sandy De Crescent began her career over 30 years ago at Universal as the first woman music contractor for a major studio. Music contractors are industry professionals responsible for hiring the appropriate musicians to play film scoring sessions.
In 1988 she formed her own company to specialize in motion picture film scores and, to date, has over 1100 films to her credit. Her client list includes accomplished composers such as John Williams, Randy Newman, James Newton Howard, James Horner and Alan Silvestri, to name just a few. The Amazing Spider-Man, Snow White & The Huntsman, The Book Thief and Monsters University are among the recent films for which she has served as music contractor.
