Michael L. Tenzer is currently Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder of Tenzer Company. Since 1963, Mr. Tenzer has been a national leader in the financing, planning, development, design and marketing of active adult, retirement and primary housing communities nationwide, including the critically acclaimed Leisure Village Ocean Hills in Oceanside, CA. Mr. Tenzer is also Chairman and sole owner of Bravo Communities, LP of Houston Texas, and the developer of the Barrington Community. Tenzer has been directly responsible for more than 115 medium and large-scale adult and single-family communities throughout the U.S. and has built and marketed more than 75,000 homes during his career. Among Tenzer’s many corporate and civic affiliations, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the American Youth Symphony and is chairman emeritus of the Young Musicians Foundation. Mr. Tenzer is a graduate (1949) and former Trustee of the Art Center College of Design. Michael currently serves on the Los Angeles Opera Board of Directors. He has served as Chair of the Marketing Committee as well as on the Budget Control Sub-Committee and Long Range Planning Committee. Currently, he serves on the Budget & Finance Committee.
