Alison Maggart presents paper at American Musicological Society

USC Thornton student Alison Maggart (PhD ’15) presented her paper “America’s Past(time): Baseball, Atemporality, and Milton Babbitt’s Whirled Series,” at the American Musicological Society as a part of the American Modernisms portion of the annual meeting. Maggart, currently in pursuit of a PhD in Historical Musicology, is a recipient of a University of Southern California Endowed Arnold Fellowship. She previously worked alongside Bollywood composer, A.R. Rahman on the Academy Award-winning flm, Slumdog Millionaire.
