Nick Campbell is an electric bass player and songwriter who excels in playing a wide variety of different styles. As a Los Angeles native, Nick grew up playing in famous L.A. rock and jazz venues including The House of Blues, The Roxy, Catalina’s Bar and Grill, The Blue Whale, and the Troubadour. He has performed/ recorded with many well-respected musicians such as Billy Childs, Peter Erskine, Tony Lindsay (Santana) and Kyle Gass (Tenacious D). Recently, Nick toured with singer, Lara Johnston, as a supporting act for the Doobie Brothers on their 2011 summer tour. This tour featured performances at the Ryman Amphitheatre in Nashville, TN and the B.R. Cohn Winery in Sonoma, Ca, which included performances by the Turtles, Buddy Guy, War and Kenny Loggings. He also appeared as a bass player in the second season of the Oxygen channel show, The Glee Project.
Nick Campbell is a founding member of the alternative-rock band, Bear Attack, which released their debut EP, “Shapes,” in April 2012. Bear Attack recently licensed their song “The Backpack Song” to the ABC Family show “Pretty Little Liars” and will be playing a west coast tour in the June 2013. He also can be seen playing frequently for a variety of artists including Mora Mora, Raquel Rodriguez, Moonchild, and The Hang.
