Daniel Carlin a featured guest at San Marino League’s 60th anniversary luncheon

Daniel Carlin, chair of the Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program, was a guest speaker at the San Marino League’s 60th anniversary luncheon last week honoring past presidents at the San Gabriel Country Club. The Pasadena Star News mentioned that Carlin “presented an interesting program on the complexities of scoring music for motion pictures and television.” The SMPTV program is one of the world’s most acclaimed programs of its kind. Alumni include Marco Beltrami, Bruce Broughton, James Horner, James Newton Howard, David Newman, Bear McCreary, and others.
