John Fumo is an American trumpet, flugelhorn, and electric trumpet player. He maintains an active performing, recording, and touring schedule in addition to his teaching at the USC Thornton School of Music and CalArts.

He has released 5 CDs to date, the most recent being Love Is Everything. He has played, recorded, and toured with a long and diverse list of major artists, including Mel Tormé, Crosby Stills & Nash, Smokey Robinson, Tito Puente, Brian McKnight, Celine Dion, Neil Young (including three world tours), Tower of Power, Faith Hill, Al Jarreau, Whitney Houston, Flora Purim, K.d. lang, Brian Setzer, Johnny Mathis, James Brown, Charlie Haden, Ricky Martin, Phoebe Snow, Vinny Golia, Lou Rawls, John Tesh, Bon Jovi, and many others.

He has also performed on a dozen film scores, and his TV appearances include The David Letterman Show, The Tonight Show, Oprah, Ellen, Regis, and The Today Show.
