Morten Lauridsen to participate in Fairfax Choral Society residency

This month, composition faculty Morten Lauridsen will join the Fairfax Choral Society (FCS) for a four day residency that will include masterclasses, seminars, and a culminating concert featuring the FCS Adult Chorus and Master Singers performing Lauridsen’s choral works with the composer himself at the piano. The concert program will be preceded by a pre-concert lecture, and the residency will also include a film screening of Shining Night and a choral festival. The events begin March 21 and run through March 25.
