Electric Cart Assistance/Check-Out

Assistance:
If you are in need of moving equipment related to events in one of our venues, please contact the Assistant Director of Production.

In all cases of cart assistance, an ensemble manager, individual musician, or ensemble representative will need to be present while all moves are taking place. These individuals should be prepared to physically assist with their respective instruments at a mutually agreed upon move time and location. In short, Music Operations is providing wheels and some physical help but ultimate responsibility resides with the requestor.

Checkout:
The electric carts maintained by the Music Operations Division are used on an as-needed basis and therefore must remain, as much as possible, at the immediate disposal of the Music Operations staff. Properly trained and authorized Cart Operators may place requests for VIP cart checkout through the VEMS Online Scheduling System ahead of time to ensure cart availability.

To make additional cart checkout requests, please contact the Office Manager for assistance. All other requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Director of Music Operations.

Dolly Check-Out

Checkout:

Dollies are available for check-out by Music Operations registered students or Thornton faculty and staff in the BMH 101 office, during posted business hours. You will need to leave a your faculty/staff/student ID as collateral until the dolly’s return.
