All Thornton Instruments that have been rented or checked out are due back to the Music Operations Office (BMH-101) by 8pm on Wednesday, May 14th, 2014.
How to rent an instrument
Please complete the Instrument Rental Request Form and return it to the Office Manager in BMH 101. Requests may take up to 2 business days to process.
Students may rent instruments at the semester rates listed below provided that they are registered in a music class and registered with Music Operations (valid sticker on USC ID). Semester rentals can be obtained as early as the week before classes and must be returned by the last day of finals (during Fall and Spring). Instruments may also be rented on a weekly basis (i.e. summer); see weekly rates listed.
Rental fees may be waived for music majors who are required to rent instruments for ensembles or studies associated with their major. A signature from the coordinating instructor is required.

Responsibility for Return and Damage
All instruments must be returned to the Office Manager on or before the last day of finals. Late returns will result in a $5 per day fine up to the cost of replacing the instrument.
The instrument must be returned in the same condition in which it was checked out. If any instrument needs repair, the student must immediately notify the Office Manager. Students will not be reimbursed for any unauthorized repair. Students are responsible to pay for any loss, damages, or repairs due to negligence or misuse.
