USC Thornton Popular Music, Jazz Studies students perform at GRAMMY Museum

On June 12, 2014, The GRAMMY Museum unveiled Pride & Joy: The Texas Blues of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Students from the USC Thornton Popular Music Program and the Jazz Studies program were invited to serve as the house band exhibit’s opening reception. Stevie’s brother and guitarist for the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmie Vaughan, even jumped on stage and performed a tune with the students.

Located on the Museum’s fourth floor, the one-of-a-kind exhibit offers visitors an in-depth look at the iconic career of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
