If you are planning a trip to visit our USC campus, we would love to see you while you are here! One of the best ways to explore our campus is through one of the many USC campus tour options. Whether you are looking for a group tour, self-guided tour, or an all-day experience, check out the numerous tour options at https://visit.usc.edu/tours/.
What We Recommend
If you are a prospective freshman, we recommend the Meet USC tour. This tour is the most comprehensive program for high school students and their families. Enjoy a 1 hour Admission Presentation, a 90 minute Campus Tour, and a 1 hour Academic Department Information Session with a representative from the Thornton School Admission Office. Meet USC tours are only offered on specific dates and times, so if this does not fit your schedule, or you are looking for a different campus tour experience, click here for a variety of other tour options.
If you are a prospective transfer student, we recommend attending a USC Transfer Day. Transfer Day is a half-day comprehensive program designed to give you an in-depth look at the transfer process and academic life at USC. The Thornton School will be offering a department information session as part of the Transfer Day itinerary on Friday, September 14 and October 26. Due to the early December 1 application deadline, we will not be offering the department information session during the November and January Transfer Days. Prospective transfer students are encouraged to attend the earlier sessions if they are interested in applying to the Thornton School. If the Transfer Day does not fit your schedule, or you are looking for a different campus visit experience, check out a Transfer Information Session and a Campus Tour. You can also contact Brittany Jimenez, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission, at firstname.lastname@example.org, with any specific questions about transferring to the Thornton School.
If you are a prospective graduate student, we recommend contacting Kit Bellamy, Associate Director of Graduate Admission, at email@example.com, with any specific questions about applying to a graduate program at the Thornton School.
Regardless of your degree level, we always encourage you to check out what USC Thornton events are taking place while you are here, and connecting with our faculty. Almost all of our events are free and open to the public and are a great chance for you to not only see what we do here at USC Thornton, but hear what we are doing!
You are also welcome to stop by our USC Thornton Office of Admission and Student Affairs during your visit to get more information about the Thornton School and pick up some material. We are located in The Music Complex (TMC) suite 200 and are open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
