Ayaka Miura (GC ‘26) has earned the second trumpet position in the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Her accomplishment was the most impressive in a series of wins, including but not limited to winning associate principal trumpet at the Boise Philharmonic and making the finals for the same position at the New York Philharmonic.
Miura is adored by her professors for her talent and hard work. Jennifer Marotta describes Miura as “a phenomenal trumpet player, musician, and person.”
