Billy Childs featured with Wynton Marsalis on newly published “Let Freedom Swing” by Jazz Lincoln Center Orchestra

USC Thornton alum Billy Childs’ (BM Composition ‘79) original compositions set to a Martin Luther King Jr. oration in 2004 live performance “Let Freedom Swing” was newly made available on all listening platforms March 27. The performance by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis captures a multitude of original compositions by musicians paired with orations of freedom fighters by actors.
