The Division of Classical Performance & Composition offers a wide variety of programs that blend the rigors of a traditional conservatory-style education with the benefits of studying at a leading research university.  Join us for a more in-depth look at the rich traditions of these programs in a presentation featuring student performances, faculty, and information on our application and audition process.

Am I Crazy? Pursuing Music in the 21st Century

A professional music career evolves over the lifetime of a musician, often in surprising and unpredictable ways.  Most musicians combine various jobs or professions both to support their immediate lifestyle and to realize a fulfilling long-term career.  Prospective undergraduate students and families are invited to join Brittany Jimenez, Associate Director for Undergraduate Admission, for a discussion about why you are not crazy for pursuing music in the 21st century.
