Describe your favorite USC Thornton experience so far.

I loved performing at Walt Disney Concert Hall!

What was your favorite USC GE class?

Freshman Seminar in Quantitative Reasoning was my favorite because it was a new area of study for me. It was fascinating to study how tests are made and the data they create.

What is your favorite thing about being in Los Angeles?

Having grown up in Minnesota, the warm, sunny weather is my favorite!

What is something you wish you knew when you were applying to college?

I didn’t realize then as much as I do now how important it is to find community and friends outside of music.

What is your favorite thing about being a student at the Thornton School?

I love being surrounded by such capable and talented peers because it pushes me to be the best cellist I can be.

Why did you choose the Thornton School?

I chose Thornton because of its impeccable reputation and because I would be able to study with Mr. Kirshbaum who is a highly regarded cellist and teacher.
