After a long day of recording.
Ocean Way Recording is a storied complex. Everyone from Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole to Natalie Merchant and Mariah Carey have recorded at the studios on 6050 Sunset Boulevard that were formerly known as Ocean Way and have since become United Recording Studios. On Saturday, April 8, students from USC Thornton joined the ranks of famed musicians who have cut tracks there.
The day-long session featured musicians performing a song that was written by current Popular Music students and recorded by students in the Music Production degree program under the guidance of noted engineer Brian Malouf.
