USC Thornton alum, Ohtae Kwon (GCRT, ’13), accepts department chair position at Chongshin University (Korean University). Kwon started playing trombone when he was 13 years old. He was a principal trombonist in the Korean National Police Symphony Orchestra, Thornton Symphony Orchestra, Southern California Symphony and LA Festival Orchestra. He is currently a member of the Seoul Trombone Ensemble. Kwon uploads videos to the YouTube channel Kwonotae.
