Prospective undergraduate students are also invited to reserve a student-led or self-guided USC campus tour. Student-led tours are hosted by current undergraduate USC students who will provide a general overview of the university. We are unable to offer tours specifically of the Thornton School, but we do encourage prospective students to attend a USC campus tour as a wonderful way to learn about all that USC has to offer and see the beautiful campus. For more information about USC campus tour options, click here.
Class and Rehearsal Visits | Various days and times
Prospective undergraduate students interested in observing a USC Thornton class or rehearsal may refer to the below approved class visit list. Please follow all instructions closely and pay special attention to any additional instructions in the “Notes from Faculty” section on the approved list.
Steps for Setting Up a Class Visit
- For all classes on the list, email the instructor as far in advance as possible to confirm your visit.
- When arriving to campus, if asked for the reason for your visit, you can share that you’re here for a “prospective student visit”. Additional Guest Campus Access information is available here: https://www.usc.edu/how-to-access-campus/
- Arrive to the class at least 5 minutes early on the day of the visit.
- Quickly introduce yourself to the professor before the class begins.
- Plan to stay for the entirety of the class to avoid disruptions for our faculty and students. If you are unable to stay for the full class meeting, confirm with the instructor that it is okay to arrive late or leave early.
