ARTL Fall Intensive Registration and Financial Aid


The MS Arts Leadership program requires registration for the Fall Intensive (ARTL 520), a week long course which will meet Monday through Friday during the week before the start of fall classes in August. You will be contacted via email in July by your academic advisor regarding initial steps for course registration.

It is important that after you have certified your intent to enroll in the MS ARTL program that you set up your first login for access to student systems, including Web Registration.

For Domestic Students

Once you certify your plan to enroll and activate your first login as described above, you will be able to use the Web Registration system to register for classes. You will hear directly from your advisor in July regarding initial advisement and registration for ARTL 520.

Important: Financial Aid for Summer Intensive
In order to be eligible for federal financial aid programs (including loans and/or work-study), you must register for ARTL 520 and at least 4 additional units for the fall semester.

For International Students

Once you certify your plan to enroll and activate your first login as described above, you will be able to use the Web Registration system to register for classes. However, you will be unable to register for classes until you arrive to the United States and complete the Immigration Status Verification (ISV) process with the USC Office of International Services (OIS).

U.S. immigration regulations permit new F/J students to enter the U.S. up to 30 days prior to but no later than the program start date printed on page one the USC I-20/DS-2019. Please plan to arrive to the U.S. no later than August 12 in order to allow sufficient for completion of ISV and registration for ARTL 520.

You advisor will be in touch with you in July to clarify details regarding enrollment in ARTL 520 and completing the ISV process.
