USC Mid-Year (Winter) Undergraduate Orientation

All new students are strongly encouraged to attend New Student Orientation to ensure successful transition to USC. Registration is required. Visit the Orientation Website to register and obtain information about session dates, costs, parent and family programs, as well as travel and accommodation options.
Placement Exams
January 8
Most transfer Thornton students will take placement exams to be placed in appropriate course levels according to any previously completed college level coursework. Click here for more information about placement exams for Transfer Students.
Registration and Tuition Deadline
January 10, 5:00PM
All new students must register for fall classes and pay their tuition by 5:00PM on Friday, January 10. Failure to meet this deadline may result in late registration and/or late settlement fees. Students are encouraged to pay their bills online at usc.edu/uscepay.
