Choir Wins Under the Direction of Student Jenny Wong
Student Jenny Wong and her choir The Diocesan Girls’ School Choir from Hongkong, China, attended the 7th International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival and Competition in Germany. Under the direction of Jenny the choir won the Champion of the Youth Choir of Equal Voices category and won the Grand Prize of the competition. Read the article

Michael Kudirka appointed Interlochen instructor
Thornton DMA candidate Michael Kudirka has been appointed guitar instructor by the Interlochen Arts Academy, the first full-time guitar position in the Academy’s history. Kudirka will provide “greater student access and more guitar offerings going forward,” said Dr. Kedrik Merwin Director of Music at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Read the article
