Carl St.Clair, principal conductor of the USC Thornton Orchestra Program, leads the USC Thornton Symphony in a concert of Strauss' Don Quixote with a student cello soloist, and "Langston Hughes: Words, Jazz, and Justice," a transformative multimedia concert created by Thornton faculty member Ron McCurdy.
At 6:30 p.m., Francille Wilson, associate professor of American Studies and Ethnicity and History at USC Dornsife, will moderate a special pre-concert discussion.
