Toronto Mendelssohn Choir names Irene Gregorio as collaborative pianist
The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir has named USC Thornton alum Dr. Irene Gregorio (DMA ’12) as its new collaborative pianist. In this role, Gregorio will collaborate with the choir’s artistic director and associate conductor to prepare the choir for concerts, playing for rehearsals, auditions and some concerts. An accomplished chamber musician, Gregorio has collaborated in recital with players of the San Francisco Symphony and the LA Phil, and she has served as pianist for the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles and the USC Thornton Chamber Singers.
