Describe your favorite USC Thornton experience so far.
My favorite experience so far was singing with the Chamber Singers in a masterclass and concert with VOCES8, a world renowned a cappella octet. I learned so much in those short few hours of working with them!
What was your favorite USC GE class?
Managing Stress for a Better Life with Dr. Elahe Nezami! This was my freshman seminar and was such a great introduction to USC GE classes.
What is your favorite thing about being in Los Angeles?
The vibrancy of the city! There is always something exciting going on and there are endless artistic opportunities. LA also has amazing boba.
What is something you wish you knew when you were applying to college?
Trust your gut! Also, take those AP exams you were too lazy to take!
Where is your favorite place on campus?
The upstairs rooms in Doheny Library
What is your favorite thing about being a student at USC Thornton?
The tight knit community and the seamless intersection of all the different music programs. I have friends who are majoring in everything from pop songwriting to classical violin performance!
Why did you choose USC Thornton?
I chose to attend the Thornton School because of its unique choral music major that doesn’t exist at any other music school in the country. I knew I would have the opportunity to hone in on my passion while simultaneously being able to take advantage of the stellar academic opportunities that come with attending a large university. As cheesy as it sounds, it also just “felt right” when I came to visit campus and meet all the faculty!
