Jules Pegram joins 2024 International Music Festival of the Adriatic Sea
Jules Pegram (‘13), a USC Thornton Composition program alumnus, has joined the composition faculty for the 2024 International Music Festival of the Adriatic Sea (IMFA). Set in Duino, Italy, IMFA is a collaborative music-making program that provides masterclasses, workshops and recitals for musicians 18 and up. The program will be held on June 2-29.
Pegram’s work has been performed by the American Composers Orchestra, Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Longwood Symphony Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic and New World Symphony, among others, and has been recorded by the Hollywood Studio Symphony at Warner Bros. Studios and 20th Century Fox Studios. He composed the score to the upcoming documentary, Choral Singing in America: Nurturing the Country’s Soul, and conducted the score to the AMG International film, Prisoners of Paradise.
