Juliette Herlin named to cello faculty at Texas Christian University

This fall, alum Juliette Herlin (DMA ’20) was named a visiting lecturer in cello at the Texas Christian University College of Fine Arts in Fort Worth. A lifelong musician who studied harpsichord as a child in France, Herlin was admitted at the age of 16 to the Conservatoire National SupĂ©rieur de Musique de Paris and studied at the Juilliard School before receiving her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from USC Thornton under the mentorship of Ralph Kirshbaum. Herlin is a teacher, soloist and chamber and orchestral musician who has performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia with ensembles like the Aletheia Piano Trio.
