USC Summer Undergraduate Orientation – Welcome Trojans
All new students must register for the Welcome Trojans Summer Orientation to ensure successful transition to USC and to register for your fall classes. Welcome Trojans will include online academic advisement and registration and an optional in-person experience on campus. If a student cannot attend an on-campus event, they may select Welcome Trojans Online. Welcome Trojans Online will include a virtual Zoom session where students will get a chance to meet fellow Trojans and learn more about student life and the USC community. Visit the Welcome Trojans Orientation website for instructions on how to register for the summer orientation program.
Fall Course Registration
In order to meet with an advisor and register for fall courses, students must register for Welcome Trojans Summer Orientation. When you’re making your orientation reservation, you will select a specific registration date and time. You must meet with your advisor prior to your registration date in order to be able to register. Approximately one month before your registration date, you will receive an email from Office of Orientation Programs with instructions on how to sign up for a mandatory advisement meeting.
Academic Expectations Zoom Meetings on June 5, 3:00PM PDT and June 24, 9:00AM PDT
This is a mandatory Zoom meeting for all new undergraduate students. Please plan to attend one of the meetings. During this meeting, you will meet your advisors and learn about your degree requirements and university policies.
USC Thornton Welcome Events
August 18-22
USC Thornton will host special in-person welcome events in late August for all new incoming Thornton students. These events will take place on campus. More information will be shared about these events when details are finalized.
In particular, please make plans to attend a Thornton new student welcome event on Thursday, August 21.
Registration and Tuition Deadline
August 22, 5:00PM
All new students must register for fall classes and pay their tuition by 5:00PM on Friday, August 22. Failure to meet this deadline may result in late registration and/or late settlement fees. Students are encouraged to pay their bills online at usc.edu/uscepay.
