Oriana Choir
As an ensemble composed of sopranos and altos of all gender identities, the USC Thornton Oriana Choir performs repertoire traditionally associated with treble choirs that ranges from choral masterworks to contemporary works from around the world.
About
As an ensemble, Oriana strives to expand all aspects of the artistic spectrum while creating a tight-knit community of supportive relationships, enjoyable learning and unique performance opportunities. Oriana is a non-auditioned treble choir open to all USC students, faculty and staff—regardless of major.
Ensemble Information
Oriana Choir contains approximately 45 singers, advised by faculty member Dr. Cristian Grases and conducted by a team of graduate students.
Leadership
Oriana advisor Cristian Grases is a lauded conductor, composer, clinician, and pedagogue.

Academic Details
Oriana Choir is offered at USC Thornton through the Choral and Sacred Music Program.
Ensemble Performances
In a typical year, Oriana performs one concert per semester in the Alfred Newman Recital Hall, in addition to joining the entire choral department at the annual Winter Gala.
