Paul Cornish interviewed by Quobuz Magazine
Quobuz Magazine covered “an encounter” with pianist Paul Cornish (BM ‘18) published Feb. 26. The piece covers his Carribean roots, Texan musical upbringing and path to LA, where he discovered an experimental environment that fuses electronic music, jazz, funk and hip hop. Blue Note signed him to later release “You’re Exagerating!” in the summer of 2025, his debut album as bandleader of his quartet.
“He is the kind of artist whose humility conceals a deep yet restless inner world,” Quobuz said of the musician.
