USC Thornton offers 10 different venues to perform, with 24-hour practice room access at our Gateway studios.
Located in the historic Doheny Memorial Library, the Music Library holds over 90,000 reference & research items.
Thornton Trojans regularly perform at the El Rey, the Hollywood Bowl, and Disney Hall as part of their collegiate involvement. Ensembles & music clubs exist all levels, including non-majors and community members.
The physical, mental and emotional health of any music professional is a critical ingredient to success. USC Thornton is committed to supporting the health and wellness of our students through information and support.
Build relationships outside of the classroom through acts of service at USC Thornton or explore university-wide opportunities through USC’s Volunteer Center.
The Thornton Student Council (TSC) exists to amplify and advocate for the student experience at the Thornton School of Music.
The USC Thornton Community Engagement Program (TCEP) provides music opportunities for children in the local area, as well as service-learning experiences for Thornton students.
