
Ludwig Göransson wins Best Original Score – Motion Picture for “Sinners” at 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards
USC Thornton Screen Scoring alumnus Ludwig Göransson (GCRT ‘08) won Best Original Score – Motion Picture at the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards for “Sinners”. This marks Göransson’s fifth Best Original Score – Motion Picture Golden Globe nomination and second win, the first being for his work on Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in 2025.
Göransson has scored every film for Sinners producer, writer, director and USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate Ryan Coogler since meeting through the USC Thornton Screen Scoring / USC School of Cinematic Arts collaborative pitch sessions when they were students.
