PICF ’16: Just be quiet and everything will be jake

Many people—artists, fellows, and audience members—have traveled from across the globe to attend the Piatigorsky International Cello Festival. The following video also begins with a journey, and in true Los Angeles fashion, it takes place in a car. This drive begins with all the foreboding of film noir and leads to a house in the hills above the city. Might we take a dark turn down one of the mean streets the pulp rags once featured? Instead, who is waiting for us? Gregor Piatigorsky, Jascha Heifetz, and Arthur Rubinstein—three titans of classical music and a chamber trio performance for the ages.
