PICF ’16: Festival Media Roundup #2

The coverage in the last week has been both broad and positive of the Piatigorsky International Cello Festival. Arts Beat LA featured a lengthy preview of the festival. Los Angeles Magazine included two articles on their website: “You Should Be Listening to Cello Music in L.A., and Here’s Why” and “L.A. Will be Filled with SO MANY CELLOS for the Next 10 Days”. And, the festival’s Baroque Conversations with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and Gala Closing Concert were highlighted on BroadwayWorld.com.

Gregor Piatigorsky himself was included in much of the coverage. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune provided an in-depth look at the importance of Piatigorsky and of the festival. Preview presented a glowing feature providing festival highlights and background on Piatigorsky, and Words and Music featured the festival on their website.
