Angelica Brooks named a Maryland MMEA Outstanding Music Educator of the Year

Angelica Brooks, a DMA candidate in the Music Teaching and Learning program, has been named one of the 2021 Maryland MMEA Outstanding Music Educators of the Year. In 2019, Brooks was named the Prince George’s County Public Schools Teacher of the Year. She currently teaches choir, drama, and music theory as the Director of Choral Activities at Bowie High School in Maryland.
