Playing in the Board of Directors retreat with Patrice Rushen has been my favorite experience so far.

East Asian Studies

What is your favorite thing about being in Los Angeles?

It is diverse in people and activity; it seems there is something for everyone, and the energy of the city makes life more interesting.

What is something you wish you knew when you were applying to college?

I wish I knew how stressful the process was, so I would have prepared a lot further in advance.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

At the moment, I really enjoy the School of Cinematic Arts.

What is your favorite thing about being a student at USC Thornton?

Being a part of a community that is larger than just Thornton. I feel connected to a whole network of people that seems stretch the country.

Why did you choose USC Thornton?

It has one of the best locations for a music school, I felt I could be challenged to become a professional of the highest caliber, and the environment is such that I feel motivated to push myself without negative feelings of competition. Everyone has a positive mindset.
