Ashley Chanel Sirls (BM, ’16) was awarded a Charles Dolo Coker Scholarship, named after highly-regarded Xanadu recording star and major jazz artist. The Charles Dolo Coker Scholarship Foundation Inc. provides assistance to students in the form of substantial monetary awards for competition winners, music lessons, purchasing and gifting needed musical instruments, and professional critique and guidance from established jazz musicians in the music industry.
