Austin Wintory composed score for “Eternal Strands”
USC Thornton Composition program alumnus Austin Wintory (‘07) composed the score for the video game “Eternal Strands,” developed by Yellow Brick Games. “Eternal Strands” is a fantasy, action-adventure video game starring a female protagonist with magical abilities who must save the world.
“This was about four years of collaboration and joyous experimentation,” Wintory shared in a YouTube video. “They are an amazing team and it was a real privilege to work alongside them. What they achieved with this game is quite remarkable!”
Wintory is known for his work on “Journey,” the only video game to be nominated in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category at the Grammy Awards, as well as his work on “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate,” “Captain Abu Raed” and more.
