USC Thornton University Chorus Concert Program
In this evening of heartfelt music-making, the USC University Chorus pairs favorites from the standard repertoire with lesser-known gems.
The centerpiece of the concert is a collection of choruses from The Denial of St. Peter by 17th-century French composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier, which will feature basso continuo. Other composers on the program include Avril Coleridge-Taylor, the folk songwriter Rani Arbo and a piece by the ensemble’s faculty advisor, Professor of Practice Dr. Nick Strimple.
