Acclaimed impresario Beth Morrison visits USC for a special Vocal Forum focusing on the future of opera. Hailed as a “contemporary opera mastermind” by the Los Angeles Times, her company Beth Morrison Projects (BMP) has been at the vanguard of indie opera and new music for more than a decade.

The Prototype festival, a co-production of Beth Morrison Projects and HERE, trailblazes in the creation and presentation of contemporary, multi-disciplinary opera-theatre and music-theatre works. With productions such as the Pulitzer-prize winning P R I S M and Angel’s Bone, BMP sets the pace for diverse and dynamic storytelling in the 21st century.
