    Holiday events to enjoy online this winter break

    While holiday celebrations may look different this year, there are still opportunities to enjoy festive concerts from the comfort of home. Check out just a few of the online events happening this month featuring students and alumni of USC Thornton:

    Holiday Karaoke with the Los Angeles Master Chorale
    Thursday, Dec. 17 | 7:00 p.m. (PST)
    Led by Thornton alumni Grant Gershon and Jenny Wong, the Los Angeles Master Chorale presents an evening of festive songs. Audiences can watch tutorials to learn the songs on the LAMC website to sing along at home. The concert will be available to watch online through Dec. 31.

    GALA Choruses presents “Winter Harmonies”
    Thursday, Dec. 17 | 5:00 p.m. (PST)
    VOX Femina Los Angeles, the all-women choral ensemble led by alum Iris S. Levine, will perform “Winter Wonderland” in the first night of GALA Choruses two-night holiday celebration of LGBTQ+ choral ensembles. The event will stream on the GALA Choruses YouTube channel.

    A Virtual Holiday Concert by Two Button Brass
    Tuesday, Dec. 22 | 2:00 p.m. (PST)
    Two Button Brass, an ensemble of USC Thornton students and alumni, will host their Virtual Holiday Concert on YouTube. Audiences can submit a holiday message to be a part of the show. Learn more on the Two Button Brass website.
