Michael Kaminsky and Kevin Lyman launch Idobi Radio Summer School

USC Thornton Music Industry faculty members Michael Kaminsky and Kevin Lyman have co-founded the Idobi Radio Summer School alongside Eric Tobin, a festival tour that will feature six up-and-coming rock bands: Stand Atlantic, Magnolia Park, The Home Team, Scene Queen, Honey Revenge and Letdown. The bands will perform in 25 cities across the United States from July 10 to August 17. Tickets to the festival are on sale now.

“We’re launching Idobi Radio Summer School to address a serious need for development opportunities for artists and bands to connect with audiences,” Kaminsky said in a statement by Billboard.

Kaminsky is the founder and president of KMGMT, an international music management company that represents artists, writers, producers and composers. Lyman is best known as the founder and producer of the Vans Warped Tour, which made its 24th and final cross-country run in 2018.
