Morten Lauridsen returns to Pacific Northwest for residency and performance

The Portland Tribune and The Oregonian announced that composition faculty Morten Lauridsen completed a residency in Portland, Oregon, including a large-scale performance of his Lux Aeterna and other significant choral repertoire with the choirs of Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, Lewis & Clark College and Marylhurst University, along with members of the Oregon Symphony, on November 9. Lauridsen, a native of the Pacific Northwest, rehearsed with the choirs and gave masterclasses for composers, performers and students at both schools.
