The MS Arts Leadership program requires registration for the Fall Intensive (ARTL 520), a week long course which will meet Monday through Friday during the week before the start of fall classes in August. You will be contacted via email in July by your academic advisor regarding initial steps for course registration.
It is important that after you have certified your intent to enroll in the MS ARTL program that you set up your first login for access to student systems, including Web Registration.
For Domestic Students
Once you certify your plan to enroll and activate your first login as described above, you will be able to use the Web Registration system to register for classes. You will hear directly from your advisor in July regarding initial advisement and registration for ARTL 520.
Important: Financial Aid for Summer Intensive
In order to be eligible for federal financial aid programs (including loans and/or work-study), you must register for ARTL 520 and at least 4 additional units for the fall semester.
For International Students
Once you certify your plan to enroll and activate your first login as described above, you will be able to use the Web Registration system to register for classes. However, you will be unable to register for classes until you arrive to the United States and complete the Passport Verification (PPV) process with the USC Office of International Services (OIS).
To complete PPV, you must register for a PPV session with OIS. Dates for PPV sessions will be updated by OIS by early summer. Per regulations, the earliest you can arrive to the US is 30 days before the program start date on your I-20. Please plan to arrive to the US no later than August 8 in order to allow sufficient for completion of PPV and registration for ARTL 520.
You advisor will be in touch with you in July to clarify details regarding enrollment in ARTL 520 and completing the PPV process.
