Keyboard Studies faculty and student release new music

USC Thornton Keyboard Studies faculty member Bernadene Blaha released a CD album, Noskowski & Żeleński: Violin Sonatas, with violinist Laurence Kayaleh via Naxos Records. The album, released Dec. 1 on Apple Music, features the work of Polish composers Zygmunt Noskowski and Władysław Żeleński. A performance of Violin Sonata in A minor off the album can be viewed on YouTube.

Keyboard Studies doctoral candidate Julian Jaeyoung Kim also released a CD album, Brahms Resonances, on Oct. 25 via KNS Classical. The album features Johannes Brahms’ most well-known pieces including Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Op. 5 and Variations on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 35. The CD is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and YouTube.

Kim was named a Bechstein Artist and is signed with Evangelista Artists Management in Munich, Germany.
