Patrice Rushen wins Trailblazer Award from Café Mocha Radio

USC Thornton faculty member and Chair of the Popular Music program, Patrice Rushen, was honored with the “Trailblazer Award” at Salute THEM Awards this June. Produced by Café Mocha Radio, the virtual event and live concert honored the musical and cultural achievements of Rushen alongside celebrated artists Earth, Wind & Fire, Dr. Bobby Jones, Jamal Josef, Darlene Love, Ludacris, Sly Stone, and Bille Woodruff.
