What is your favorite place on campus and why?

Probably Wallis Annenberg Hall, because they have a nice café and great spots to study.

What is your go-to place for a delicious snack/meal on or around campus?

Coffee Bean (for their Peach Jasmine Cold Brew Tea) or the Law Café (for a Vanilla Latte and Salmon Bowl)

What is your favorite thing about Los Angeles?

Lots of fun things to do and great East Asian food in the area (San Gabriel Valley, Koreatown, Little Tokyo)!

What advice would you share with students applying to music schools right now?

Be confident in yourself! Most institutions want to help you succeed rather than set you up for failure. Also consider carefully and don’t apply to too many schools – it’s a lot of effort and you only get to attend one in the end!

Why did you choose USC Thornton?

I really loved my audition experience here back in 2020 – all the other Choral majors that greeted me were so kind and everything ran really smoothly! I was also super excited about learning different languages and exploring different aspects of music (conducting, singing, arranging, etc.) as part of my curriculum.
