Sigma Alpha Iota student scholarship winners to perform in award recital

Three USC Thornton graduate students won scholarships in a competition by the Pasadena Alumnae chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota. The winners of the 36th annual competition were Dongni Xie in the piano division, Micah Wright (clarinet) in the instrumental division and Chelsea Chaves (soprano) in the vocal division.

All three students will perform in a public recital on Sunday, April 12th at 2:30pm at the Pasadena Public Library. Since 1947, the Pasadena alumnae chapter of SAI has awarded over 150 scholarships to music students in Southern California.
