What is your favorite place on campus and why?

My favorite place on campus would have to be the area in between the USC Thornton School of Music, Bing Theatre, and the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. The area is the perfect quiet place for studying and songwriting.

What is your go-to place for a delicious snack/meal on or around campus?

My favorite place for a snack would have to be Dulce in the USC Village. If you are a matcha lover like me, you’ll love their iced matcha latte!

What is your favorite thing about Los Angeles?

My favorite thing about Los Angeles is that there is always something to do in the city. My friends and I often like to try new restaurants, go to concerts, and go late-night driving around the city. In Los Angeles, there is always somewhere new to explore!

What advice would you share with students applying to music schools right now?

Some advice that I would share is when applying to music school, don’t be afraid to showcase who you are in your current artistic journey!

Why did you choose USC Thornton?

I chose the USC Thornton School of Music because of the incredible Popular Music program. When picking what college to go to, I knew I wanted to go somewhere that had a great contemporary music program where I could grow in my artistry. USC Thornton’s Popular Music program has given me the opportunity to learn from amazing faculty members as well as my classmates. USC Thornton’s location was another factor that I took into consideration. Being in LA has given me many opportunities to perform that I feel I couldn’t get anywhere else.
