Troy Armstrong has won numerous awards for his original compositions, including the New Music for Orchestra and New Music for Wind Ensemble Competitions at the University of Southern California. Troy is also a recipient of the USC Discovery Scholars prize and was awarded a departmental award from the USC Thornton composition department for his musical achievements as an undergraduate.
