  1. Commit to Enroll at USC
    • Commitment Deadlines
      • First-years: May 1
        • Fall 2024 Admits: Click here for more information about certifying to enroll and other important next steps like applying for USC housing, signing up for orientation and more.
        • Spring 2025 Admits: Click here for more information about certifying to enroll and other important next steps like planning your fall semester, applying for USC housing and more.
      • Transfers: June 1 (or within two weeks of receiving your admission letter)
        • Fall 2024 Admits: Click here for more information about certifying to enroll and other important next steps like applying for USC housing, signing up for orientation and more.
  2. Plan to Complete the Undergraduate Theory and Aural Skills Diagnostic Exam
    • New first-year students who certify to enroll (all majors except Music Industry) are required to complete a music theory and aural skills diagnostic exam to prepare for fall semester courses. This exam will be administered online and must be completed between June 24-28, 2024.  Detailed instructions on completing the diagnostic exam will be provided to incoming first-year students by the Composition Department and the Director of Undergraduate Theory in early May.
